Today, 9K Network announces the next phase of its development as an information, research, and technology organization.

Since its founding, 9K Network has grown from a small independent platform into a multidisciplinary enterprise covering investigative reporting, scientific research, technology development, public-interest analysis, and humanitarian initiatives.

To support continued growth and long-term sustainability, the organization is implementing a formal corporate structure designed to expand its capabilities while preserving its founding principles of transparency, integrity, accountability, and evidence-based analysis.

As part of this transition, owner John Minor has formally assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer.

“Organizations should not depend on any single individual,” Minor said. “The purpose of leadership is to build institutions capable of outlasting their founders. This transition is not about changing our mission. It is about strengthening our ability to pursue it.”

The company also announced the formation of several operational divisions focused on:

  • Investigative and analytical reporting
  • Scientific and technical research
  • Emerging technologies and innovation
  • Humanitarian and community initiatives
  • Ethics, governance, and institutional accountability

Future publications, investigations, and research outputs will be issued through the appropriate organizational divisions and subject-matter teams.

Minor emphasized that the organization’s focus remains unchanged:

“Information matters. Science matters. Public trust matters. Our responsibility is to pursue facts, develop solutions, and contribute positively to the communities we serve.”

As the organization continues to grow, 9K Network remains committed to its founding objective:

To inform, innovate and serve.
