British Members of Parliament have received classified intelligence on the situation in Sudan, revealing that at least 60,000 people were killed in El Fasher following the city’s capture by the Rapid Intervention Forces (RSF).
The information was disclosed in a report by The Telegraph, which also noted that an estimated 150,000 residents remain unaccounted for. Intelligence documents indicate there is no evidence these civilians fled the area, raising fears that further mass killings may have taken place after the city fell.

Satellite imagery referenced in the briefing shows El Fasher has been almost entirely abandoned. Analysts reported that once-busy markets now appear overgrown, and all livestock within the city perimeter has vanished, suggesting widespread displacement, confiscation, or systematic removal.
MPs were reportedly warned that the situation represents one of the gravest humanitarian crises in the region in recent years. Further assessments are ongoing as British officials continue to monitor developments.
